Tell me which one is YOUR favorite!!

I have tried and tried and I just cannot decide which movie I like more when it comes to Chrismas movies. Of course I do have it narrowed down to the two - Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life. But that just goes with out saying, right? I mean, what else is there to choose from? Maybe White Christmas, but nah, it's just these two.

So here's the deal. You tell me which one is your favorite. We'll see which one get's the most votes. And on Sunday November 30th I will draw one of the names from the list of voters and that person will win a pair of my brand new Resin Drop Earrings. Sounds fun, right?

Thanks in advance for participating!! Feel free to make arguments for why one movie is better than the other...or even make suggestions of other good holiday movies, understanding none can top these two! ;)

Miracle - because Kris says "ooch" when she pulls his beard. And when they dump all the mail on the cantankerous judge - classic.

DEFINITELY It's a Wonderful Life!

I think most anyone can relate to getting so wrapped up in their own misery sometimes that they need simple inspiration from somebody else to put it all into perspective. :-)

I am blogging challenged... I think I've sent you three different versions of the same response. Anyways, I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life, so when can I expect you with movie and popcorn? I will even let you play Glen Campbell too! :)

Oh, you peole who have never seen one or both of these movies are killing me! Here's what you need to do. The holidays are so hectic - go rent one or both of them, make osme hot chocolate, put a log on the fire, pop some popcorn and take some time to relax and watch these classics. It'll make you feel good!

Definitely wonderful life, Jimmy Stewart AND Donna Reed, it doesn't get any better. Add in Clarence the angel...nuff said. Kate and I also enjoy White Christmas. It's completely sappy but we love it.

Are there really people that have not seen these movies?

Definately "It's A Wonderful Life"!
We watch it every year, sometimes more than once; whenever it is on the TV. And the part that has touched us the most is when George Bailey takes his daughter's, Zuzu, flower petals and tucks them in his pocket..........you know the rest of the story! Well, our fifth dog, two-yr. old german shephard, is named Zuzu in honor of the movie's character. Can't wait to see it again this year.

It's a Wonderful Life - 'cause every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings. Doesn't get any better than that. :)

And, for my holiday recommendation, even before I had kids - is Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas - search it on Amazon.com. One of the best classic Jim Henson movies ever. Maybe can't compete with It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th St, but it's still a classic for me.

It's A Wonderful Life. Everyone needs a guardian angel!

But then there's always A Charlie Brown Christmas...That has to go in there somewhere.

I would pick It's A Wonderful Life. It is a wonderful story. I remember watching it during the holiday season for many years. I think I will bring back that tradition in my household and watch it again!

It's A Wonderful Life! The only time I ever saw my mom watch TV was when that movie was on. Beautiful story!

I love Miracle on 34th Street. I think that it was the first Christmas movie that I really understood that it was a Christmas movie. Also, my birthday is 11 days before Christmas, so it is on a lot around then. And I remember that for my 8th birthday (I think) I got the remake version as a present. I watched that video so much, I think that the tape might have worn thin!

So my vote is definitely for Miracle on 34th Street!

'It's a Wonderful Life,' for sure. Though if you'd added 'A Christmas Story' there's no doubt I would have voted for that instead!

RED, RED RED, FOR SURE!!! Course, the white is fresh, and the green reminds me of the pine trees outdoors (not here in hot arizona, but you know what I mean)
But the red ones call to me.

Miracle definitely. It brings out the believer in Santa in all of us.

For a modern Christmas movie it would be split between A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
